मिलकर जहां बाह्य सभामण्डप है, जहां सिद्धार्थ क्षत्रिय है वहां प्राते हैं। वहां आकर दोनों हाथ जोड़कर यावत् शिर पर अजंलि कर सिद्धार्थ क्षत्रिय को 'जय हो, विजय हो' वचनों से बधाते हैं।
६८. पश्चात् सिद्धार्थ राजा ने उन स्वप्नलक्षण- पाठकों को वंदन किया, उनकी अर्चना की, उनका सत्कार प्रौर सम्मान किया तथा प्रिय वारणी से उनकी अभ्यर्थना की। पश्चात् वे ( स्वप्नलक्षण- पाठक) पृथक-पृथक् पूर्व स्थापित भद्रासनों पर बैठ जाते हैं।
६६. अनन्तर सिद्धार्थ क्षत्रिय त्रिशला क्षत्रियाणी को यवनिका ( पर्दे के पीछे बिठाता है। बैठाकर हाथ में फल-फूल लेकर विशेष विनय के साथ उन स्वप्नफलपाठकों से उसने इस प्रकार कहा- "हे देवानुप्रियो ! निश्चित ही प्राज त्रिशला क्षत्रियाणी ने पूर्वोक्त प्रकार की शय्या पर सोते हुए यावत् अर्द्धनिद्रावस्था में इस प्रकार के उदार [ यावत् ] चौदह महास्वप्न देखे और देखकर जागृत हुई । वे स्वप्न हैं :- गज, वृषभ इत्यादि ।

68. King Siddhartha bowed to the dream-diviners, honouring and propitiating them with proper offerings. The diviners then took their seats on the chairs that had been laid out for them.
69. Siddhārtha then had Trisalā sit behind the screen. And with his palms full of flowers and fruits, in order to show respect, he addressed the dream-diviners and spoke to them of Trisala's dreams and exclaimed: "Truly, O beloved of gods,
