वह तारागण और नक्षत्रों का मुखमण्डल अर्थात् प्रधान था । वह अन्धकार का शत्रु था। वह कामदेव के बाणों को भरने वाले तरकस के समान था। समुद्र के पानी को बढ़ाने वाला था । व्यथित एवं विरहीजनों का अपनी किरणों से शोषण करने वाला, व्यथा बढ़ाने वाला था । पुन: वह चन्द्र सौम्य और सुन्दर रूप वाला था। विशाल गगन मण्डल में अच्छी तरह परिभ्रमण करता हुआ, गगन मण्डल का वह चलता-फिरता तिलक था । वह रोहिणी के मन और हृदय का वल्लभ- प्रियतम था । ऐसे समुल्लसित पूर्णचन्द्रको शिला देवी ने देखा। ४०. इसके अनन्तर वह त्रिशला सूर्य का स्वप्न देखती है । वह सूर्य अन्धकार समूह को नाश करने वाला और तेज से जाज्वल्यमान रूप वाला था। लाल अशोक, विकसित किंशुक, तोते की चोंच और चिर्मी के अर्ध लाल भाग के समान वह रक्तवर्णं वाला था । कमलवनों को विकसित करने वाला और ज्योतिषचक्र का अंकन करने वाला था। वह गगनतल का प्रदीप था। हिमसमूह को गलाने - नाश करने वाला था । ग्रहमण्डल का मुख्य अधिपति था। रात्रि को नष्ट करने वाला था । उदय और अस्त के समय ही घड़ी भर के लिये सुखपूर्वक देखने योग्य और अन्य समय में दुष्करता से देखने योग्य रूप वाला था। रात्रि में भागने वाले
