पुन्नाग, नागकेशर, प्रियं शिरीष मोगरा, महिला, जाई, जूही, अंकोल, कोज्ज, कोरंटपत्र, दमनक, नवमालिका, वकुल, तिलक, वासन्ती, पद्म, उत्पल, पाटल, कुन्द, प्रतिमुक्तक और सहकार के सुरभित फूल गुंथे हुए थे इस माला के अनुपम मनोहर सौरभ के कारण दशों दिशाएं महक रही थीं। वह माला सर्व ऋतुओं में खिलने वाले सुरभित कुसुमों से निर्मित थी। माला का रंग मुख्यतः श्वेत था और बीच-बीच में विविध रंगों के फूल गुंथे हुए थे, जिससे वह प्रत्यन्त ही रमरणीय प्रतीत हो रही थी । विविध रंगों के कारण वह आश्चर्य उत्पन्न करती थी। उस माला के चारों तरफ पट्पद, मधुकर, भ्रमर गुंजारव करते हुए मंडरा रहे थे। आकाश से नीचे प्राती हुई ऐसी माला को त्रिशला ने देखा । ३६. तत्पश्चात् वह त्रिशला चन्द्र का स्वप्न देखती है। वह चन्द्र, गोदुग्ध, पानी के भाग, जलबिन्दु और चांदी के कलश के समान शुभ्र था। शुभ था। वह हृदय श्रीर नेत्रों को ग्राह्लादकारी था। परिपूर्ण था। गहनतम अन्धकार समूह को नाश करने वाला था । पूर्णिमा के चन्द्र की तरह सोलह कलाओं से युक्त था। कुमुद वनों को विकसित करने वाला था। रात्रि की शोभा को बढ़ाने वाला था। वह अच्छी तरह स्वच्छ किये हुए दर्पणतल के समान चमक रहा था। वह हंस के समान शुभ्र था ।

All ten regions of space were filled with fragrance. Woven into the garland were sweet-scented flowers that bloom during different seasons. Its colour was mainly white but was variegated with other hues. Swarms of bumble-bees flocked to it and made the region around it resound with their humming.
39. Then Trisala saw the full moon, night's treasure and delight, dispelling the densely gathering darkness. The moon shone white like water-droplets or milk-foam or a silver urn.
