३७. उसके पश्चात् वह पूर्णचन्द्रमुखी त्रिशला क्षत्रि- याणी स्वप्न में लक्ष्मी देवी को देखती है। वह लक्ष्मी समुन्नत पर्वत पर उत्पन्न हुए उत्तम कमल के आसन पर स्थित एवं प्रशस्त रूप वाली थी। उसके चरण सम्यक् प्रकार से रखे हुए स्वर्णमय कच्छप के समान उन्नत थे । उसके नाखून अत्युन्नत और पुष्ट थे। रंग से रंजित न होने पर भी रंजित प्रतीत हो रहे थे, तथा मांसयुक्त, उभरे हुए, पतले ताम्बे की तरह रक्त और स्निग्ध थे। उसके कोमल हाथ और पैरों की अंगुलियाँ कमलदल के समान सुकोमल और श्रेष्ठ थीं। उसकी पिण्डलियाँ कुरुवृन्द (नागरमोथा)एवं कदलीस्तंभ के आवर्त के समान अनुक्रम से उतार-चढ़ाव युक्त गोल थीं। शरीर पुष्ट होने से उसके घुटनों के टखने बाहर दिखाई नहीं दे रहे थे। उसकी जंघाएं उत्तम हाथी की। सुंड के समान परिपुष्ट थीं। उसकी कटि (कमर) कांत तथा कनकमय विस्तृत कटिमेखला (कंदोरा) से युक्त थी। उसकी रोमराजी श्रेष्ठ अंजन, भ्रमर और मेघ समूह के समान श्याम वर्ण वाली तथा सरल-सीधी, क्रमबद्ध, अत्यन्त पतली, सुन्दर, मनोहर, सुकुमाल, मृदु और रमणीय थी । नाभिमण्डल के कारण उसके विशाल जघन (पुछे) सुन्दर, प्रशस्त और सरस थे। उसकी कटि का मध्य भाग मुट्ठी में आ जाय, इतना पतला और प्रशस्त त्रिवली से युक्त था।
37. Then she, the moon-faced one, saw the Goddess Sri on a sublime Himalayan peak. The Goddess sat gracefully on a lotus in the middle of a big lotus lake; the space-dwelling elephants (disa-gajendra) were annointing her with their long, well-rounded trunks. She was seated in the highest reaches of the Himalayas with noble grace. Her feet had the sheen of a golden turtle and the turtle's firm and well-rounded form. The fingers of her feet and hands were delicate and soft like lotus petals. She had exquisite copper-coloured nails, well-embedded in the firm flesh of her fingers. Her thighs were round and well-tapered; they were adorned with the ornament called kuruvindāvarta. Her knecjoints were beautifully concealed in flesh. The upper part of her thighs (aru) were firmly rounded like elephant-trunks. On her beautiful and distinctly round buttocks rested a girdle of gold. The hairs on her body were alluringly tiny, and soft and delicate: they were straight and even and finely distributed; their colour was black and comparable to that of rain-laden clouds or black bumble-bees or collyrium.
