प्रातःस्मरणीय पूज्य आचार्य शांतिसागरजी महाराजने जिनवाणी माताकी सेवा एवं उसके प्रसारके जिस कार्यको हमें सोंपा था, उसका हम यथाशक्ति निर्वाह करते आ रहे हैं । जैसा कि आचार्य महाराजका आदेश था, हम उच्च कोटिके सिद्धान्तग्रन्थोंके प्रकाशनके लिये यथासम्भव प्रयत्नशील अवश्य हैं और यह उसी प्रयत्नका सुन्दर फल है जो पटखण्डागम जैसा महत्त्वपूर्ण सिद्धान्तग्रन्थ इस संस्था द्वारा प्रकाशित होकर आज पाठकोंके हाथोंमें पहुंच रहा है । इसमें हम कहां तक सफल हुये हैं, यह तो स्वाध्यायप्रेमी ही निश्चित करेंगे, किंतु फिर भी हमारा ख्याल है कि अब तकके प्रकाशनोंमें यह अपनी अलग ही विशेषता रखता है।
तीनों सिद्धान्तग्रन्थोंके ताम्रपत्रोंके ऊपर उत्कीर्ण हो जानेपर आचार्य महाराजने उनके मूल मात्रको हिंदी अनुवादके साथ प्रकाशित करानेकी इच्छा व्यक्त की थी और तदनुसार उन्होंने प्रथम सिद्धान्तग्रन्थ षटखण्डागमके कार्यको सम्पन्न करनेका आदेश भी श्री. नेमचन्द देवचन्द शाह सोलापुरकी सुपुत्री बाल ब्र. श्री. सुमतिबाईजी न्याय-काव्यतीर्थ, संचालिका श्री रा. दि. जैन श्राविकाश्रम सोलापुर, को दे दिया था । हमें इसका विशेष हर्ष है कि उसके इस रूपमें पूर्ण हो जानेपर आचार्य महाराजकी उपर्युक्त इच्छा पूर्ण हो रही है ।
इस ग्रन्थके प्रकाशनार्थ श्री. शेठ हिराचन्द तलकचन्दजी बारामतीने ४००१ की आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की है। इसके लिये हम उनके अतिशय आभारी हैं । ग्रन्थके सम्पादन और प्रकाशनमें जिन विद्वानों एवं संस्थाओंका हमें सहयोग प्राप्त हुआ है उन सबका हम हृदयसे आभार मानते हैं ।

Nemchand Devchand Shah, Solapur, and the director of Shri Ra. Di. Jain Shravakashram, Solapur. We are immensely delighted that the fulfillment of this task marks the completion of Acharya Maharaj's aforementioned wish.
