Or, by the said padas, they touch the entire Loka. || 76 ||
How much area do the Bādara Pṛthivīkāyika, Bādara Apkāyika, Bādara Tejukāyika and Bādara Vanaspatikāyika individual soul-embodied beings touch with their own abode padas? || 77 || They touch the innumerable part of the Loka with respect to the said abode padas. || 78 ||
How much area is touched by them through the Samudghāta and Upapāda? || 79 || They touch the innumerable part of the Loka. || 80 || Or, they touch the entire Loka. || 81 ||
How much area is touched by the Bādara Vāyukāyika and their own Aparyāpta soul-embodied beings through their abode padas? || 82 || They touch the countable part of the Loka through the said abode padas. || 83 ||
How much area is touched by them through the Samudghāta and Upapāda? || 84 || Or, they touch the entire Loka. || 85 ||
The 'vā' word used in the sūtra should be understood to mean that the Bādara Vāyukāyika and Bādara Vāyukāyika Aparyāpta Vedanā, Kaṣāya and Vaikriyika Samudghātas touch a countable part of the three Lokas, and a part innumerable times greater than the Manuṣya and Tiryañca Lokas. From the Māraṇāntika and Upapāda padas, they touch the entire Loka.
How much area do the Bādara Vāyukāyika Paryāpta soul-embodied beings touch through their abode padas? || 86 || They touch the countable part of the Loka through the abode padas. || 87 ||
How much area do they touch through the Samudghāta and Upapāda? || 88 || They touch the countable part of the Loka. || 89 || Or, they touch the entire Loka. || 90 ||
