होती है । यथा(१) — कदि काओ पगडीओ बंधदि त्ति जं पदं तस्स विहासा' ।

____ यहां यह बात ध्यान देने की है कि उक्त दोनों उद्धरण जीवस्थानकी प्रथम चूलिकाके पहले सूत्र पर आधारित हैं, उस सूत्रकी शब्दावली और रचना-शैलीको देखते हुए यह भाव सहजमें ही हृदयपर अंकित होता है कि उस सूत्रकी रचना किन्हीं दो गाथाओंके आधारपर की गई है। वह सूत्र इस प्रकार है
“ कदि काओ पयडीओ बंधदि, केवडिकालट्ठिदिएहि कम्मेहि सम्मत्तं लंभदि वा ण लभदि वा केवचिरेण वा कालेण कदि भाए वा करेदि मिच्छत्तं, उवसामणा वा खवणा वा केसु व खेत्तेसु कस्स व मूले केवडियं वा दंसणमोहणीयं कम्मं खतस्स चारित्तं वा संपुण्णं- पडिवजंतस्स ।' [ प्रस्तुत ग्रन्थ, पृ. २५९ सू. १]
मेरी कल्पनाके अनुसार इस सूत्रकी रचना जिन गाथाओंके आधारपर की गई है, वे गाथाएँ कुछ इस प्रकारकी होनी चाहिए--
कदि काओ पयडीओ बंधदि केवडिद्विदीहि कम्महि । सम्मत्तं लब्भदि वा ण लब्भदि वा [ 5 णादियो जीवो] ॥ १ ॥ केवचिरेण व कालेण कदि भाए वा करेदि मिच्छत्तं ।
उवसामणा व खवणा केसु व सेत्तेसु कस्स व मूले ॥ २ ॥ यहां यह बात ध्यान देनेकी है कि कोष्ठकान्तर्गत पाठके अतिरिक्त सब पद उपर्युक्त सूत्रके ही है, जिनसे कि गाथा निर्माण की गई हैं ।
ऊपर जिन आठ संकेतात्मक सूत्रगाथाओंका उल्लेख किया गया है, उनके अतिरिक्त प्रकृति-अनुयोगद्वारमें अवधिज्ञानकी प्ररूपणा करनेवाली १५ सूत्र गाथाएँ पाई जाती हैं, उनमेंसे अधिकांश तो ज्योंकी त्यों, और कुछ साधारणसे शब्दभेदके साथ प्राकृत पंचसंग्रह और गो० जीवकाण्डमें पाई जाती है। इसी प्रकार बन्धन अनुयोगद्वारके अन्तर्गत जो ९ सूत्र गाथाएँ आई हैं, वे भी उक्त ग्रन्थोंमें पाई जाती हैं। साथ ही ये सभी गाथाएँ ज्योंकी त्यों, या कुछ शब्दभेदके साथ श्वेताम्बरीय आगम ग्रन्थों और नियुक्ति आदिमें पाई जाती हैं, जिनसे यह ज्ञात होता है कि दि० श्वे० मत-भेद होनेके पूर्वसे ही उक्त गाथाएँ आचार्य-परम्परासे चली आ रही थीं
