the knowledge is unlimited. Blissfulness, compassion, right belief, right conduct, everlasting life, are qualities of the pure soul. And each soul is always one; higher-self and lowerself simply mean the self in a higher state or lower state, but it is the same self.
During the process of development the chief business of life should naturally be to remove our impurities, anger, greed, fear, unkindness, etc., and so liberate the natural qualities of the pure soul and finally attain the pure state.
The word ' non-injury' sums up the means of reaching an ideal state; we injure our selves and others by unlimited desire to possess property, by unchastity, by stealing, speak. ing untruth, and by killing ; if we wish to make spiritual pro. gress we should refrain from these activities as much as possible, and by doing so we liberate the qualities of the soul.

માફી, ભલે માંગે તમે ભાકી, કહે આપી શકું ક્યાંથી ? હૃદયનો દોર તૂટ જે, કહો સંધાય તે ક્યાંથી? પરસ્પર આપી ચૅ માફી, મને તેની નહિ પરવા ! પડયો જે દાગ દિલમાં તે, કહે ભુસી શકે ક્યાંથી?
દુદય ખાલી છતાં હસવું કહે તે આવડે ક્યાંથી ? તુટેલે તાર સાંધ્યાથી, પડે જે ગાંઠ પ્રીતિમાં, હજારો મુર્શિદ આવી, નિવારી એ શકે ક્યાંથી ? અગર છે પાક દિલ મારૂ, કરે છે ખાક આતશથી, સુખી છું તેજ દુખેથી, હૃદય એ ભાવના ક્યાંથી? અચલે જે પ્રીતિની રીતિ, પછી શું માફીની પરવા? નથી તુટયું પછી સાંધી, કહો હું એ શકું ક્યાંથી? કહે લોકે ખરી શુદ્ધિ, વસે છે એજ માફીમાં, પરંતુ વિષ પીઉં હું, વિના દદે કહો ક્યાંથી? કર્યું કુરબાન આ દિલ જે, સખાની મસ્ત યારીમાં, જીગરથી જે દીધું અપ, પછી ભારી મળે ક્યાંથી ? દીધી માડી, લીધી માફી, વળી લીધી, વળી દીધી, . કુડાઈ ને બુરાઈને, લહું લ્હાવો અરે ક્યાંથી ? વળે છે સિધુનાં વારી, સમુદ્ર થાય છે ખારાં, પરંતુ સાંભળ્યું કે, કહે માંગી કહીં મારી? ખરી પ્રીતિ, ખરી માફી, વસે છે યુગપત પ્રેમ, ખરી માફી ન દીધાથી, બતાવું ભેદ એ ક્યાંથી?
