This is the third year since this our pet Gathering comes into existence under the auspices of Jain Students’ Brother. hood, which has, during the time, been able to make some remarkable progress. My friend Mr. Barodia has alreadystated about its work for 1910 at the last Social gathering
The most unique occasion that for 1911 the brotherhood could take up, was the celebration of the birthday of our Lord Mahavir on Chaitra Sud 13 ie 11 th April 1911, when different 'speeches were made by various speakers on the merits and life of Shri Mahavir, under the chairmanship of Sheth Hemchand Amarchand and then a lecture-series was inaugurated, list whereof is as follows :

Esq. B.A.L.L.B. Out of these the 1st, 2nd and last were delivered and the remaining two could not be had on account of several unforeseen circumstances.
By this we could secure the sympathy and co-operation of all the students and gentlemen belonging to different sects of Jainism, and could understand the lines of thoughts, modes of working and feelings of each much better and more closely. Before this institution came into its being, we sought one another long, and afterwards by the characters we heard of each other which wrought more upon our affections than in
