________________ 1911] Shrimad Yashovijayaji. Vijayasinha Suri (who died in S. Y. 1708) went from city to city, village to village, and by his learned and engaging sermons and argumentative disputations, he took right and left the Chaitya-vasis and did away with their corruption and degenera-tion, which he very nicely describes in his appeal to Simandhara Swami in gujarati that we shall see later on. He died in 1745 S. Y. at Dabhoi (Darbhavati) near Baroda, where lie his padukas bearing date of Magshir Sud 11th. Now let us go to his Sanskrit and Gujarati works.
