ॐ नमः सिद्धेम्यः॥
श्री जैन श्वेताम्बर कोन्फरन्स हेरल्ड.
लोकेभ्यो नृपतिस्ततोऽपि हि वरश्चक्री ततो वासवः सर्वेभ्याऽपि जिनेश्वरः समधिको विश्वत्रयोनायकः । सोऽपि ज्ञानमहोदधिः प्रतिदिनं संघं नमस्यत्यहो वैरस्वामिवदुन्नतिं नयति तं यः स प्रशस्यः क्षितौ ॥
ભાવાર્થ–સર્વ લેકથી રાજા, રાજાથી ચક્રવર્તી અને ચક્રવર્તીથી ઈદ શ્રેષ્ઠ છે. વળી આ સર્વથી ત્રણ જગતના નાયક શ્રી જિનેશ્વર ભગવાન શ્રેષ્ઠ છે. જ્ઞાનના મહાસાગર એવા શ્રી જિનેશ્વર ભગવાન પણ શ્રી સંધને હમેશાં નમસ્કાર કરે છે, એજ આશ્ચર્ય છે. માટે તે સંઘને જે પુરૂષ વૈરસ્વામીની પેઠે ઉન્નતિ પમાડે છે તેજ પૃથ્વી ઉપર પ્રશંસનીય છે.

Hhe Sayings of Eoethe.
I propose to give in a collective form, in this short paper, some of the most famous sayings of the great German philosopher and poet Goethe. These sayings are replete with a rich human experience, and embody, in a nutshell, a depth of practical wis. dom and a wealth of philosophical significance truly admirable. Conceived in a terse yet vivid style, they have all the vigour and freshness of proverbs, though in the process of translation, they hráve lost something of the exact force and spirit of the original, They are deeply suggestive and furnish food for reflection that chastens and ennobles the mind,
_1. Whatever there is of wisdom has been already thought out : our business is simply to think it over again.
2. What gives free rein to our intellect but strengthens not our self-restraint is exceedingly pernicious.
