लक्ष्मीस्तं स्वयमभ्युपैति रभसा कीर्तिस्तमालिंगति प्रीतिस्तं भजते मतिः प्रयतते तं लब्धमुत्कण्ठया। स्वःश्रीस्तं परिरब्धुमिच्छति मुहुर्मुक्तिस्तमालोकते,
यः संघं गुणसंघकेलिसदनं श्रेयोरुचिः सेवते ભાવ:–ગુણસમૂહ જેનું ક્રીડા સ્થાન છે એવા શ્રી સંધની સેવા પરમ સુખ પ્રાપ્ત કરવાને સુક એવા જે પુરૂપ કરે છે તે પુરૂષને લક્ષ્મી પોતાની મેળે ત્વરાથી આવી મળે છે, કીતિ તેને આલિંગન દે છે, પ્રીતિ તેને ભજે છે, મતિ તેને મેળવવા માટે ઉત્કંઠા સહિત પ્રયત્નો કરે છે, થી તેને ભેટવાને ઈ છે અને મુકિત તેને વારંવાર જુએ છે.

According to an English writer, the civilization of a : country should be measured by the standard of its home life and the social status of its women. This is eminently true. The early education that children receive from their mother constitutes the primary ingredients of national progress. The first impressions which the child imbibes, with the very milk of its mother so to speak, it carries along to the end of life, modified no doubt by after experiences, but still sufficiently strong to colour its mauhood. These early ideas form the basis ou which rests the superstructure of National greatness or national degeneracy, No nation can tlierefore be truly advanced unless the life and thought of its women are correspondingly high and elevated. It is indeed the mother who plants the seed of future greatness in the tender mind of her child.
