We are surprised to note that Mr. Tarachand Navalchand has told you that he and other members who have joined the committee are going to resign. We may inform you that Digambar representatives were co-opted in the said committee at the request of Seth Ta rachand Navalchand,
dated 8-5-2x from Mr. Motichand, G. Ka padia, Solicitor, published in various papers, we cannot attach much weight to the report received by you. If by records, you mean other documents please send us co. pies of the same, or at least send us. a list of such documents. We would take this opportunity of impressing upon you the necessity of carrying on correspondence in a dignified manner and to avoid insinuat ing language and personal remarks.
Without waiting for the information which we were collecting you were the first to resort to public press and you got pub lished reports which are now found to be one-sided and inaccurate, with a view to prejudice the public against our Swetamber brothers and to avoid the real issue. Not being satisfied with the agitation carried on in press, you held public meeting on 8th May at Hira Bag and among other resolutions passed a resolution to the effect that the temple of Shri Keshariyanathji
belonged to the Digambars and that Sweહિતી ambers were encroñching up the aid temple. You give a go-bye to prior history. We also object to some of the other
resolutions but we refrain from commenting on the same wlhile deeply regretting at the incident which resulted in the sad deaths of our Digambar brothers. As the matter
is likely to go to court we refrain from
expressing any opinion as regards the said incident which we deplore, We fully join with you in sympathasing with the families
of those who lost their lives.
If you had not carried on a propaganda in papers and had not made this occurence as the occasion for asserting certain claims
which are disputed, we would have consin dered the question of joining the proposed deputation. We have always co.operated
As regards palitan movement, we fully appreciate your co-operation and we trust the same will continue.
