In continuation of our letter dated 7th of March 27 we beg to enclose herewith a copy of the resolution passed at a Pub. lic Meeting of the Jains held under the auspices of Shri Jain Swetamber Conference, The Jain Association of India and the Bombay Mangrol Sabha. The resolution speaks for itself.
We shall thank you to forward the said resolution to the proper authorities.

We are in receipt of your letter dated 17th March 1927. We note that the subject matter of our letter dated the 7th of March 1927 has been brought to the notice of the Board of studies in Gujrati.
We understand that the books reconn. inended by the Board of studies are prescribed for the University Course without any reference to the Syndicate.
We beg to point out that it is necessary that if any book of Mr. Munshi, referred to in our first letter is likely to be recommended or is already recommended by the board of Studies-the matter should be placed before the Syn be placed before the Syndicate or if nece. ssary before the Senate.
We shall thank you to circulate a copy of our letters dated the 7th and 17th of March 1927 to the members of the Syndicate for their information and necessary action. Copies of the said letters are sent herewith.
We may point out that the feelings of our Community in the matter are very strong as would appear from a copy of the resolution passed at the public meeting of the Jains held on 16th March 1927 which we send you along with a seperate letter addressed to you to-day.
