Acharya Shri Kailassagarsuri Gyanmandir
Thapar and Mrs. Debala Mitra, the Director Generals of his time Dr. Desai maintained the same relations and rapport.
At home, he maintained a mini-office cum library, with books, magazines and periodicals of his subjects and kept himself engaged in research activities. Mrs. Desai took utmost care of him and gave support throughout. "S" is for Shahida-he used to call her so-a very kind-hearted and simple lady.
He breathed his last on 24th March, 2002 after a few days of illness. I conclude and pay tribute to this great scholar of international reputation.
