दग्धोऽग्निना क्रोध मयेन दष्टो दुष्टेन लोभाख्य महोरगेण । ग्रस्त्तोऽभिमानाजगरेण मायाजालेन बद्धोस्मि कथं भजे त्वाम् ।। ५ ।। હું કાલ અગ્નિથી બળે, વળી લેભ સર્ષ ડ મને, ગળે માનરૂપી અજગરે, હું કેમ કરી ધ્યાવું તને! મન મારૂં માયા જાળમાં, મેહન! મહા મુંઝાય છે, ચડી ચાર ચાર હાથમાં, ચેતન ઘણે ચગદાય છે. I was burnt with the fire of Anger And the vicious serpent of greed has bitten me. I was swallowed by the cobra of ego How can I devote thee, My mind fastened in the net of illusion Is much confused. And also the soul was suppressed In the hands of four thieves Tell me God how can I worship thee. ?

कृत मयाऽमत्र हित न चेहलोकेऽपि लोकेश सुख न मेऽभूत् । अस्मादृशां केवलमेव जन्म fઝનેશ ન મય પૂરગાય | ૬ | મેં પરભવે કે આ ભવે, પણ હિત કાંઈ કર્યું નહિ, તેથી કરી સંસારમાં, સુખ અલ્પ પણ પામ્યો નહીં જન્મ અમારા જિનજી! ભવ, પૂર્ણ કરવાને થયા, આવેલ બાજી હાથમાં, અજ્ઞાનથી હારી ગયા. ૬ In this or in the previous birth No benevolent act was done.
