રહેવું અને તેના નિયમોને પાળવા. પિતાના પક્ષમાં જે કંઈ નાણાની આવક થાય તે અલગ
અલગ એકઠી કરવાને બંનેને અધિકાર છે. (લેખ ખોદી નાખ્યાની વાત સાચી હોવા છતાં) કયા માણસે લેપ ખેદી નાખે છે, એ વાતને વેતાંબર સિદ્ધ કરી શક્યા ન હોવાથી નુકસાનીના બદલાની તેમની માગણી કાઢી નાખવામાં આવે છે. વેતાંબરેને તેમના સમય દરમિયાન ચક્ષુ-ટીકા-મુગટ–આંગી વગેરે રાખવાને હક્ક છે. તે જ પ્રમાણે દિગંબરેને પણ તેમના સમયમાં ચક્ષુ-ટીકા વિગેરે સિવાય તેમની પદ્ધતિ પ્રમાણે પૂજા કરવાનો અધિકાર છે. Aવેતાંબર મૂર્તિને લેપ કરાવે તેમાં તથા લેપમાં કંદરા-લંગોટ વિગેરેને આકાર કાઢે તેમાં દિગંબરોએ જરા પણ હરકત નાખવી નહીં, પરંતુ શ્વેતાંબરોએ કરા-કરછટ વગેરેના ચિહ્ન એવાં આછો-પાતળાં કરવાં કે જેથી દિગંબરોની લાગણું દુઃખાય નહીં. મૂર્તિ અને મંદિર મૂળમાં ભવેતાંબરી હોવા છતાં અત્યારે વેતાંબરની સવૉધિકારની માગણે નામંજૂર કરવામાં આવે છે.”
આ ચુકાદાથી વેતાંબર અને દિગંબર બંને નારાજ થયા. કોઈને પણ સર્વાધિકાર મળે નહીં. વેતાંબરોને વહીવટ કરવાને પણ સંપૂર્ણ અને અબાધિત અધિકાર ન મળ્યા. લેપ કરવાનો અને લેપમાં કોટ તથા કંદોરાની આકૃતિ કાઢવાનો અધિકાર “વેતાંબરોને અવશ્ય મળે, પણ કેટને હુકમ એટલે બધે અસ્પષ્ટ હતો કે કટ અને કંદોરા વિગેરેનો આકાર કેટલે મેટ કાઢ એને પણ ખુલાસે તેમાંથી મળતો ન હતે. of the plaster and done damage to it their claim to damages and compensation with respect of the damage fails and is dismissed. The plaintiffs shall be entitled to worship tho image with the ornaments, વક્ષ, ટી, મુટ, ગાંધી etc, as before according to their forms of worship only in their own time......the Digambaris are entitled to worship the image without any of these and in their own way and in their own time, according to the time table ......A permanent injuuction shall be granted to the plaintiffs (garazt ) against the defendants (fiat ) restraining the latter from obstructing the plaintiffs and their sect in putting the paste on the idol and in restoring it to its former condition. Viz, showing the star and #f247, and marks on the ears and palms, now and hereafter, in worshiping the idol with all those marks. It is however directed that these marks shall not be so bold and prominent so as to be offensive in any way and that they shall be shown with as light a touch of plaster and as faintly as possible.
The permanent injuncion declaring the rights of Shwetambaris to worship the image in exclusive rights is disallowed, while holding the image and the temple to have been Swetambari by origin.
