Jains of North America and the World,
Jai Jinendra!
In my last letter to you I mentioned some of the projects that we wish to pursue. We can not make these a success unless we have your support. To further show our commitment to these projects we would like to not only have a local youth to help us with our endeavor but also a local adult to help coordinate with the local youth. On of our events that we will need tremendous support is our convention.
Next July 4th, the Third Biannual YJA convention will be held in Houston, TX and to make this a success we need your physical and financial support. We are hoping that every city sending a delegation to convention, will participate in the convention by preparing a discussion group item, seminar presentation, or display. To make this convention easily accessible to all participants we need your financial help. If you are interested in donating please contact Jill Shah at (918) 251-3597, who has a full list of donator benefits.
To make ourselves accessible to your valuable input we have all set aside one hour everyday where we will be accessible by phone (these are by no means:

If you know of someone who could be a valuable asset to our mission: to propagate Jainism in the Americas and to provide a strong network connecting us on this continent, then do not hesitate to suggest to them to join our board. We are looking for dedicated youth from 18 to 29 who can be a part of this dynamic group.
This insert is geared toward seeking your help, a JAINA Digest reader concerned with the security of Jainism in North America in the Future. As always, feel free to contact us.
