Group - In this category, we include those mathematical texts, which are well known and its critical editions have been published. 1. Gaạitasära Samgraha of Mahāvīrācārya (850 A.D.) 2. 2. Ganita Tilaka, commentory on Patiganita of Srpati, written by Simha
Tilaka Sūri (1275 A.D.) . Group || - In this category, we include only those texts whose original texts have been published but its critical edition has not been published so far. 1. Trisatikā (Patiganitasāra) of Sridhara. 2. Ganita Sara Kaumudi of Thakkara Pheru (1265-1330). 3. Angula Saptati. 4. Litavati of Poet Lalacandra. 5. Amka Prastara.
Out of these Trisatikā is very important. Its mangatacarana has been changed. Really Sridhar was earlier Shaiva hindu but later he became Jaina. At the time of copying, some one changed the mangatācarana. Original mangalācarana was
नत्वा जिनं स्वविरचित पाट्या गणितस्यसारमुधृत्य14 and later ' word was changed to 'frå'. But in the inner part we get an example related to Tirthankaras in connection with the question related with fractions.
वृषभे सम्भवे पंच सप्तोन्दुरुत दीशये:।
विमले ऽर्द्ध चतुर्दार क्रमेणैकं च दृश्यते॥ This example contains the name of Tirthankara Vrasabha (Adinatha), Sambhavanātha and Vimalanātha and able to say the entire story.
