An intellect is identified as to follow or pioneer Sufism only if he follows and understands the peak stages of Sufi Education. And in order to gain this process of learning, a disciple (Murid) imperatively needs a superlative guidance of Guru (Pir) and without this, one cannot become a true Sufi. In Sufism, a relationship between a Pir (Guru) & his Murid (disciple) is to such an extreme that a disciple must absolutely capitulate himself to his Guru without which he would not attain deliverance. Under any cogency of circumstance, a disciple is not consented to leave his Guru neither he can counter argue with his Guru even if he does not entrust his master and has a doubt. Come what so ever, a disciple is required to affix to his Guru and seek the path to salvation. It is a great sin in Sufism if he does not follow his Guru. In Sufism, a relationship between a Master and his disciple is so persuasive and affirmative, that if he is to leave his Pir (master), he would not be accepted by any other Pir, hence it is very imperative to be cautiously selective for a disciple to select his Pir (Master). Eventually, Sufi Pir's mastered the supernatural miracles, and ultimately Guru came to be equated with Supreme God. Coming to the pious religion Jainism, which has its own denotations towards the term Guru. As per Jain religion, Guru is a word designated to a spiritual teacher, who has utmost spiritual knowledge and wisdom. A Guru is a guide, a leader to his disciple who seeks Jain mystical and erudite truth. As per Jainism, Guru can be ઓગસ્ટ – ૨૦૧૭ addressed to an Acharya who has attained decisive knowledge to seek deliverance. Although Jain philosophy explains that a spiritual progress in one's life is attained only by an individual comportment and stance. Undeniably, the guidance and expertise of a spiritual mentor help a disciple to guide his soul through the right path of acumen, but the intensity of veneration given to a Guru is not so intense as seen in other religions. As per Jainism, Guru is not an incamation (Avtaar) of God neither a messenger of a God. Guru is also not the one who founded Jain religion. Jain religion explains that a Guru is not a physical structure, a Guru is not a physical mentor or a leader, but a Guru is the one who beholds Gurutva-decisive knowledge about the religion-Jainism. Guru is the serenity captivated in a divine soul. When a Jain performs Guru Vandana as a ritual in the auspicious manifestation of a Guru, he is not expressing his bestowed gratitude to an identity as "Guru", but he is articulating his respects to the devout - pious knowledge & wisdom with a covet in his insights to seek the same hue of erudition in his life. This knowledge dispensed by a Guru is like a drop of water to quench your thirst in the dry land of desert. Its magnitude needs to be entrusted to pursue more and more. A Guru is an Aspiration, A Guru is an Inspiration.
