________________ JANUARY 2016 PRABUDHH JIVAN PAGE No. 51 Eighth Chakravarti Subham - By Dr. Renuka Porwal, Mob.: 098218 77327 King Anantavirya of Hastinapur was killed by Parshurama. Later on his son Kritavirya became king. His queen Rajkumari Taradevi saw 14 auspicious dreams as a sign of the arrival of a brave child. King Kritavirya had killed rishi Jamadagni, Parshurama's father, so to take revenge he killed Kritavirya. Taradevi ran away to a forest ashram and delivered the child. Young Subham, one day asked his mother about his father. On knowing that his father and grandfather both were killed by Parshuram, he marched towards Hastinapur. Parshuram immediately recognized him and tried to kill him with his Parshu, instead Subham killed Parshuram with the plate which turned into a wheel. Shubham became a Chakravarti. Once he made a journey to an island, on a Palakhi full of armywithin, carried by deities. While passing through Lavana Samudra every deity thought for a second, "So many deities are holding the Palakhi, suppose for a moment if I leave my hand for rest, nothing will happen." But every deity thought the same at that exact second, resulting in the Palakhi falling in the ocean, killing the entire army along with the Chakravarti. Subham couldn't perform any penance so he went to the Seventh Naraki. 000
