________________ MARCH 2013 told the king, Oh! king, I am a saint who is not interested in any such worldly affairs. I am a Brahmchari (life time celibacy observer). I have vowed for non-stealing, ahimsa, truth etc. Whatever has happened with your daughter is the work of Yaksh Tinduk. I have nothing to do with it.' PRABUDDHA JIVAN Muni was again in his meditation pose. The king was puzzled so he asked for an advice to the Brahmin who was supposed to perform the marriage ceremony. The Brahmin said, 'what has been abandoned should be given to Brahmin only, The king then thought of getting her daughter married with that Brahmin only. The Brahmin advised the king to perform a big sacrifice (Yagna) to make his daughter great. The king agreed. everything was prepared. Once upon a time a young learned man was in search of a job. He was wandering from one office to another after applying for a job but it was in futile. He could not get any job for many days. He was very nervous. One night he was in a dual mind, whether to try again and again or commit suicide. He had already decided to commit suicide. In the morning when he was out of his house while roaming on the road he met a saint who was very pius and powerful. He could read from difficulty so he asked him if he can be of some help to him. The man told his difficulties and narrated his story and told him about his idea of commiting suicide. The saint silently listened him and then said, `see, you are a learned man. your idea about suicide is not proper. You please think about the human life. Our life has a meaning. I know you are facing difficulties in life but a person is tested by these difficulties only. Son, please don't leave the hope and better try again & again. I am sure you will definately get a job and you will be very happy in the life. The young man was at first sight only impressed by the saint so he left the idea of suicide and again decided to try for the job. Next day again he started searching about the job. The next day when he went to one of the offices a manager called him and asked about his bio-data. The young man gave the file containing his papers about his bio data. He confessed that he was new in the city and no body knew him. The manager was kind enough and was impresses by the 33 During that occasion muni Harikeshibal was passing from there after one month's fasting. The crowd seeing him started driving him out and hitting him. The muni was absolutely quiet. The princess Bhadraa also arrived there and requested everybody to behave well. She said, "He is a great saint, what are you doing? He is a very pious man. He has never looked at me also. Please ask him to forgive you otherwise the Demi-God Yaksh will burn all of you." Everybody was astonished and frightened. The muni said, 'I am above love and hatred. I forgive all of you. May God bless you. DIFFICULTIES ONLY FORGE OUR LIFE ☐ Gujarati: Shashikant L. 'It is because of you only that I am alive and got the job also' he said. He bowed down and asked for the blessings. The saint advised him to stick to the job and work very hard and also told him to be very faithful to the boss. The above incident is true story. when Swami Sachchidanandji was on a tour in India he had experienced such incident and had stopped a young from committing suicide. Such incidents happen many a time in many people's lives. When a person is tired of confiliets and difficulties, thinks of commiting suicide but if that particular moment passes away and happens to meet some good personality he is saved. The saint told him 'In life you will still come across many difficulties, but these difficulties only make the man perfect. Never loose courage. Pray to God with full faith and tell him to show the way out of these difficulties. The god is very kind and will definitely show you the way out. When Ravishankar Maharaj completed hundred years of his life one person asked him, `Dont you feel disgusted of life now? you are quite old now. Are you not tired of this life?' Ravishankar Maharaj said, Brother, thinking like this is insulting the god, showing malice towards god. The life that is given by god should be ilved nicely and for the happiness of others. If you help others god will help you.' *** 51, Shikalekh' Duplex, Alkapuri, Vadodara-390007.
