One of the things I have greatly valued in my time as Archbishop is the contact I have had with the Jain Community both in this country and during my visit to India. The opening in Leicester ten years ago of the first Jain Centre in Europe was, I know, very significant for your community. It is right that you should be celebrating that event in this way and I look forward to developing our friendship together over the next few years.
