2. Śrutajñāna- The false knowledge concerning śrutajñāna
is named as śrutajñāna. 3. Vibhangajñāna- The false knowledge concerning
avadhijñāna is called vibhangajñāna. Darsnopayoga
The Darsnopayoga is of two types- Svabhāvadarśana (the upayoga) related to soul. It is self-organized and natural. It is also a complete knowledge. The vibhāva darśana has three types
1. Caksudarśana- The indeterminate knowledge attained
through eye is called cakṣudarśana, such as in the darkness
of night something is seen but not clearly. 2. Acakṣudarśana- The indeterminate kriówledge attained
through other senses except eye and mind is called Acakṣudarśana, such as sound coming from far distance
is heard but its particularly is not known. 3. Avadhidarśana- The indeterminate knowledge achieved
through soul, Aout the thing having from known as Avadhidarśana.
A Jiva is a real knower (Iñātā), a real agent (Kartā) and a real experient (Bhoktă). 3 It is self-illuminated and illuminator of others. Moreover it has extension. It extended itself according to the body it possesses. Generally it has been accepted that consciousness possesses no extension because extension lies where there is form or figure. Because conscious is without form, it has no extension. But the Jaina Philosophy asserts that extension found in the Jīvais like light. There is seen no conflict between lights presented by the different sources in the same room. In the same way the extension of Jivadoes not create any conflict which is always found with material things.
Nature of Jiva
In the Jaina Philosophy substance consists of attribute (Guņa) and modes (Paryāya). Consciousness is the attribute of the Jīva and
