the Punjab Jaina Bhandaras, comp. by Banarasi Das Jain, contains description of 3168 (2568 Sanskrit and Prakrit, 500 Gujrati and 100 Hindi mss.) in tabular form; with extracts (beginning, ending colophons) of select 75 Sanskrit and 6 Hindi mss. The manuscripts have been arranged by title A-Z. Location of each manuscript has been indicated. Introduction throws light on the genesis of Jaina Bhandars in India in general and in the Punjab in particular. A.C. Woolner was instrumental in bringing these manuscripts, preserved in Bhandaras located at Ambalacity, Amritsar, Nakodar, Patti and Zira, to the light. The number of manuscripts in these Bhandaras is 876, 6154, 479, 366,and 711, respectively. Now these manuscripts are housed in the Punjab University Library. Pub. Punjab University,
