was of hardly eight years. He was brought up at Dwārikā. Śrīkrsna acknowledged his power and borried over his kingdom. But Aristanemi declared that he will accept the Jinadikṣā without getting married. Rāji matī, the proposed wife of Aristanemi followed the foot step of Aristanemi.53 The Vedic
tradition has no such reference. 25. Draupadi is said to be a Sati-Siromani in Jaina tradition due to
her penance, though she had a Nidāna-karma in the previous birth of Sādhvi Gopālikā for having five husbands while she looked at Veśyā Devadattā who was busied with her five
lovers.54 26. Draupadi was kidnapped by Padmanābha, the king of
Dhātakikhanda who carried her at his capital Amarakaņkā. Kapila Vasudeva and Tīrthankara Munisuvrata were there in Dhatakīkhanda. Two Vāsudevas cannot meet each other according to Jaina tradition. Then Kapila Vāsudeva gave a lession to Padmanābha and saved Draupads from his clautches."
Pandavas could not stand before Padmanābha. 27. Gajasukumāla was the eighth son of Devaki. Her first six sons
were identical ones who became Jaina monks. Gajasukumala also renounced the world leaving his wife Somā, the daughter of Somaśarmā who kept the fire pot on his head and as a result
Gajasukumala died on the spot." 28. According to Mahābhāratā, Kunti did not join the Pāņdavas'
Vanavāsa while Jaina tradition says that Kunti went with them. 29. Mahābhārata mentions that king Drupada sent his Purohita to
Duryodhana at the direction of Śrīksṣṇa while the Jaina tradition mentions that Srikrşņa sent the message to Duryodhana with
Drupada's purohita.57 30. According to Mahābhārat, Sañjaya becomes messenger of
Dhrtarāșțra and goes to Pandavas. The message carried the affection towards Pāņdavas, whereas the Jaina tradition says that Dhrtarāșțra sends the message to Pāņdavas for renouncing the idea of a war with Kauravas. Yudhisthira replies that to
