Draupadi ignored the arrival of Nārada as he is said to be Asamyamī, Avirata and Mithyādrsti according to the Inātādharmakathā.26 But the Harivaṁsapurāņa27 and Pārdava Purāņazs are of opinion that as Draupadi was engaged in her own decoration, she could not attend properly the Narada Rși. As a result, Nārada became furious and reached King Padmanābha, the King of Amarkankā who kidnapped Draupadi by the assistance of his friend Sāngatikadeva.29 The war was then held betwee rändavas and Padmanābha, and Pāndavas were defeated. Then Krşņa caught him by the help of Susthitadeva. and brought him before Draupadi, who forgave him.30 One day Pāndavas tried to taste the power of Krşņa by leaving him alone at the Bank of Gangās. Krsna then crossed it and reached to Pāndavas safely. Knowing that Pāndavas tested him, he began angry with and expelled Pāndavas from his Dvāraikā Nagarī. The Pāndavas went to ultimately south India and established the city Pāndu- Mathurā, where Draupadi gave a birth to Pāndusena. Afterwards Pāndavas handed over the kingdom to Pārdusena and initiated into Jinadīkņā along with Draupadi. Pāndavas attained salvation and Draupadi took birth in the Brahmaloka as Deva who will attain Mokșa in next birth 31
Kassa was named as he was found in Kānsya box. While he was in womb, his mother Dhāriņi, the wife of Mathurā expressed her desire (Dohada) before king Ugrasena to eat the flush of her husband. This was treated as the indication of forth coming difficulties and hence he was kept in Kānsya box and thrown away in the see.32 Kamsa was then brought up by Vāsudeva who got married him with Jivayasā, the daughter of Jarāsandha. This was later on disclosed to Kaṁsa who kept his father Ugrasen in jail and became a king of Mathurā.” Kassa arranged the marriage of his sister Devaki with Vasudeva. At the time of marriage celebration, Muni Atimuktaka, younger brother of Kaṁsa predicted that the seventh son of Jīvayaśā, Kansa's wife, will kill her husband. Then Kansa requested Vāsudeva to handover all the seven sons of Devakī to him.
