________________ are found in Yuvāchārya Shrī also not in the sense that he has conquered any land or people but that he is the conqueror of himself. He has conquered the inner enemies like anger, avarice and ego. In this sense he is a great warrior, the hero of horses. This heroic quality can be found in a saint alone. Most of the great heroes of the world divert their energies towards the attainment of material things or worldly reputation but this saint-hero has applied all his energies in the Study of Āgamas, in research work and in meditation to lead his soul to noble heights. Through his energies he has enlightened not only himself but the whole religious world as well. Yuvāchārya Shri has taught that in order to extricate humanity out of the slough of despondency and scepticism into which it has fallen, what is needed is real and sincere faith in a higher spiritual power. Thus he is an upholder of the spiritual view of the world in an age of increasing materialism and uncertainty. Besides these qualities a hero is not narrow and partisan. The same is the case with Yuvāchārya Shri. He is above sectarianism. He hasn't developed a narrow and partisan mind. Whatever truth he came across was seen and felt intensely. His views of non-sectarianism and open-mindedness are manifest both in his writings and speeches. He deals with each subject not by narrowing himself in any particular religion, area or time. When he delivers his lectures whether in public or Preksha Dhyāna Seminars, he fascinates everybody by his magnetic personality. In the present Scientific age, which Mathew Arnold calls as an age of sick, hurry and divided aims, there is need of such a hero imbibed with spiritual qualities. Who else than a saint can guide the people in a right way. Really Acharya Shri Tulsi is far-sighted in nominating Mahāprajña as Yuvācbārya. Not only Terāpantha and Jain Community but the whole of humanity also will be benefited by his saintly heroic qualities of head and heart. May our wishes bear rich fruit ! 112 Tulasi Prajñā
