8. As it is well known, Mt. Meru is at the centre of the world. Mānusottama is a name of a mountain which is located at the continent of Puşkara. Outside of Puşkara, no human life exists and no human life can exist. Thus, it is implied that with two paces Visnukumāra stepped across the entire domain of human kind.
