V Life of a Jain Muni : The life of a Jain Muni is full of complete austerity. He keeps no money. He gives up his house and the whole family. Buddhisagarji was a Bhramchari throughout his life and had not married. The Jain Muni has no house of his own. They generally live in a monastry built by the public. They get up early in the morning. Their early prayers take more than an hour. Then they give lactures from the Shastras to a large number of men and women, who are collected there. Then they go for getting their meals to the houses of some persons Jains as well as non-Jains. They do not keep any vessels of any metal. They keep [39, wooden pots which they carry in their hands hanging in a cloth. Then all the Munis sit to gether and dine. They wash their own clothes. During the aftenoon hours they get time to read and write. In the evening again they go to bring their meals and then they have their evening prayers. At night they sleep on wooden pats. Their life is of ex feme simplicity and renunciation. Guru Maharaj passed a life of this sort and still he could find time to read the Jain literature as well as the Shastras of almost all the religions. He studied Sanskrit by going to Benaras and got à mastery over this language for great extent, so that he could write his most valuable book of Karmayoga in original Sanskrit and translated it into Gujarati It is a book of 716 pages and gives complete knowledge of a Karmayoga by giving insta
