________________ 64 This relationship of Vasudev and Kamsa is very strange, and it is no where found in "Mahabharat' or in any Hindu Book. ""Born in Kuru-vansha, Devaki has been given as his sister, to Guru Vasudev, a servant of Jina's feet, by Kamsa as Gurudakshina". i.e. अपभ्रंश भारती 15-16 This is really very typical that "Kansa' being a disciple of Vasudev, first gave his sister to him and afterwards, killed his six sons and alos wanted to kill the seventh son "Krishna', who was saved by Vasudev. As in "Mahabharat' and "Bhagwat Purana', Vasudev took newly born child i.e. Krishna from Mathura to Gokul to replace him with the daughter of Nanda and Yashoda. Same episode is here in "Rithanemi Chariu' by Swayambhu. Here Jain poet Swayambhu hints that child Krishna is nothing but the "Incarnation of Vishu' with all his signs. Siri lachhan-lankshiy-vachhyalu. Suhlakkhan-lakkhalankiyau. Atthuttarsaya-vamankiyau. Narayan-chalangutth-hau Vihadevi payoli-kavad gaue Hari deppinu layai jasoy-sua. Halharu vasuava kayathakiya." ""Having power of hundred lions and having sign of Laxmi on his chest with auspicious pictures with 108 names, born Krishna. The doors of the prison were opened by the leg of Narain (Krishna). Then Vasudev took Yashoda's daughter, giving his son. Both Balbhadra and Vasudev were obliged thus." i.e.
