hair while I will have my head shaved with a razor and will have tufts of hair on my head. The Sadhus practise five great vows, while I will practise small yows. The Sadhus are penniless while I will have ornaments on my body and property. The Sadhus are without delusion of mind preventing diseornment of truth, while I am wrapped in delusions, and so, I will have an umbrella over my head. These worthy ascetios walk about without shoes while I will put on shoes for the protection of my feet. These Sadhus are rich in fragrance of their moral virtuousness, while I am not and so I will have a coloured mark of sandal ointment on my forehead for its fragrance. These worthy ascetics being free from passions, put on wh and old clothes, while I, being full of passions, will put on coloured clothes. These ascetics have abandoned the use of unboiled water containing millions of small animalcules but I will use a measured quantity of such unboiled water for my drink and bath. In answer to a question by Bharata Chakravarti, Bhagavāpa Shree Rishabha-deva narrated the names of future Tirthankaras, Chakravartis, Vāsudevas, Prati-Vasudevas and Baladevas. On further questioning Bha. rata chekravarti asked O Lord! is there any fortanate individual in this assembly who will become Tirthankara like your sacred self in this Bharata Kshetra (euraaa )?' Bhagavāna Shree Rishabha-deva pointing to Marichi, said . This son of yours. Marichi will be the last Tirthankara named Vira in Bharata Kshetra, first Vāsudeva named Tripri. shtha in Potapapura and a Chakravarti named Priyamitra in Mükapuri in the Videha Kshetra.' Hearing this, with the permision of the Lord, Bharata Chakravarti went to Marichi Muni, and going round him three times, with a low bow said 0 Maricbi, you are lucky in obtaining all the precious benefits in this world. Because you will become the last
