Hearing the preaching of the Sadhus containing the real essence of truth, Nayasara, full of joy, considered himself very forunate. At that time, Nayasara on account of the purity of his heart, obtained Samyaktva (2) The Sadhus went to the town and Nayasara after bowing down before them once more, returned to his camp in the forest and sending the prepared logs of wood to the king per his servants, went to his own village.
Nayasara afterwards studied the essence of true religion-the nine categories (r) of truth, spent the remaining portion of his life with a firm belief in true religion and expiring while remembering the sacred Panch Namaskara Mantra at death time, was born during second provious life, as a god in Saudharma (us) heaven with a life-limit of one Palyopama ( પટ્યાપમ ).

Some events of the life of Nayasära are exemplary. Nayasara was the chief officer of a village, and as a servant of the king, he had gone to and the forest, principally with the object of having logs of wood cut prepared for king's use-a work involving the destruction of animal life; still, on account of his in-born virtues and the best usage of holder, Nayasara had the fancy of giving food and drink to a mendicant at dinner-time even in an unfathomable forest. Although it was mid-day and Nayasara was hungry, still, however, he was looking around with the idea of nurturing his fancy. The pious fancies of lucky persons sometimes bear fruit instantly. Nayasara meets with such worthy ascetics, without the least, trouble, in an unfathomable forest, and gives them food and drink with a pure heart full of joy. Here a combination of three circumstances happens; Nayasara has a mind to give food and drink to the Sadhus, the material to be given is ready, and worthy ascetics have unexpectedly come. It becomes a medium of great profit i. e. Samyaktva to Nayasara. After taking his meals, Nayasara had gone to the place where the Sadhus were resting themselves, had requested them to join their company for the purpose of showing them the way out of the forest and had personally shown them the road to the town. Here the good virtuous qualities and purity of the soul of Nayasara are put to a severe test. Had it been otherwise, even after giving food and drink to the Sadhus, he would not have gone to the Sadhus with a request to show them the way out, but on the contrary, the Sadhus would have been obliged to go to him with such a request or perhaps Nayasara would not have gone personally but he would have sent one of his servants with them; notwithstanding that, he thought it to be a personal duty of his,
