This work has opened a gate to philosophical understanding which is essential to the history of ideas. ફિલોસોફી ઇસ્ટ ઍન્ડ વેસ્ટ વૉલ્યુમ 26 નં.૪માં લખ્યું: The book is obviously a "must" for any one interested in the Jaina logicians, it is also of particular value for anyone interested in the Buddhist logicians from a rather novel point of view largely ignored in twetieth-century scolarship. The reader will find a wealth of information and a wide-ranging summary of many fascinating problems of Indian philosophy. ' આ પછી તેઓ આ જ લા. ભારતીય વિદ્યામંદિરમાં અધ્યક્ષ બન્યા. પરંતુ સંશોધનકાર્યને સંપૂર્ણપણે ન્યાય આપવા માટે તેમણે સન ૧૯૮૪માં અધ્યક્ષપદેથી રાજીનામું આપ્યું અને પોતાનું સમગ્ર જીવન ભારતીય તત્ત્વજ્ઞાનના સંશોધનાર્થે સમર્પિત કરી દીધું. સન ૧૯૯૧માં તેઓ આ વિદ્યામંદિરમાંથી નિવૃત્ત થયા. | નિવૃત્તિ પછી તેમણે સ્વતંત્રપણે પોતાની સંસ્કૃત-સંસ્કૃતિ ગ્રંથમાળા શરૂ કરી. પોતાની બચતમાંથી ખર્ચ કરી આ ગ્રંથમાળામાં તેમણે પોતે લખેલા અગિયાર ઉત્તમ ગ્રંથો પ્રકાશિત કર્યા જે આ પ્રમાણે છે : અંગ્રેજી ભાષામાં - Essay in Indian philosophy; Samantabhadra's Aptamimamsa - Critique of an Authority; A study of Jayanta Bhatta's Nyayamanjari, a Mature Sanskrit Work on Indian Logic (in three parts). તેમના ગુજરાતી ગ્રંથો આ પ્રમાણે છે : સાંખ્યયોગ, ન્યાય-વૈશેષિક, ભારતીય તત્ત્વજ્ઞાન - - કેટલીક સમસ્યા, શાંકરવેદાન્તમાં અવિદ્યાવિચાર, બૌદ્ધધર્મદર્શન. . વળી મુનિશ્રી ન્યાયવિજયજીના પ્રસિદ્ધ મહત્ત્વપૂર્ણ દળદાર ગુજરાતી ગ્રંથ “જૈનદર્શન”નો તેમણે અંગ્રેજી ભાષામાં ઉત્તમ અનુવાદ કર્યો છે, જેનું અંગ્રેજી શીર્ષક છે, Jaina Philosophy and Religion. આ ઉપરાંત તેમણે પ્રાચીન મૂળ હસ્તપ્રતના આધારે ન્યાયમંજરી ગ્રંથિભંગનું સંપાદન પણ કર્યું છે. અમદાવાદના ભો.જે. વિદ્યાભવનના ઉપક્રમે તેમણે જૈનદર્શનમાં શ્રદ્ધા, મતિજ્ઞાન અને કેવલજ્ઞાનની વિભાવના અંગેના ત્રણ ઉત્કૃષ્ટ વ્યાખ્યાનો આપ્યા હતા. તે હિન્દી ભાષામાં પ્રકાશિત થયા . છે. શીર્ષક છે : નૈનન મેં શ્રદ્ધા (સ ર્જન), મતિજ્ઞાન ગૌર વાન શ્રી વિભાવના. મ.મહા. વિધુશેખર ભટ્ટાચાર્યના અંગ્રેજી પુસ્તક Basic conception of Buddhismનો તેમણે કરેલો ગુજરાતી અનુવાદ બૌદ્ધ ધર્મદર્શનની પાયાની વિભાવના” નામે પ્રકાશિત થયો છે. વળી તેમણે પ્રોફેસર હાબફાસના વિદ્વતાપૂર્ણ અને માહિતીસભર મહત્ત્વના પુસ્તક "India and Europe: An Essay in Philosophical Understanding નો ગુજરાતીમાં અનુવાદ કર્યો છે
