paharamte padi-paharanamuna karesu na sāmattham(?) || 87 'The illustration of ūrjā :
Do take up confidently your sword which falls forcefully on the enemies. By striking him in return who strikes (first) is not true prowess (?)
uvamā jattha ņiņhavai ghaļā(?) să avannhui hoi pice a aisaenam, pemāisao bhaneavvo || 88
'Wherein the simile is concealed that figure is Apahnuti. Wherein extreme love (is expressed) – that figure should be called Premātiśaya.'

nahu ucca-vidava-saṁthia-pahiţtha-kalaamthi-kala-rava-ppasaro |
suvvai vana-vilasira-pupphacāva-mahuro ravo eso || 89 The illustration of Apahnuti : Really, what is heard is not the spreading sweet notes of the joyous cuckoo perched on a lofty branch. This is the sweet twang (of the bow) of the floweryarrowed one who sports in the park.' pemāisao jahā
sahasā tuammi ditthe, jo jāo tia paharisäisao || so jai puno-vi hosai, suidara tua damsane ccea || 90
"The illustration of Premātisaya :
The extreme joy which she felt on seeing you all of a sudden, will be again felt, if at all, on seeing only you, O beautiful one !
riddhi-mahāņubhāvattaņehî duviho-vi jāai udatto |
so pariutto gheppai, jattha visittham ņiaṁ dāum || 91 Two types of Udātta result (through the expression of) prosperousness and high nobility. That is Parivịtta in which something special is received by giving away something that is one's own.' riddhi-udātto jahā
tuha nara-sehara vipphuria-raaņa-kirana-ņiara-ņāsia-tamāim bhiccāna-vi dīva-sihā-mailāî na homti bhavanāim || 92
