(p. 42) and Madras edn. (p. 93) have द्रौणायनः
Most of the different commentaries on the K. P. have द्रोणात्मजः See - Jha. edn. (p. 328), प्र. & उ. edn. (p. 291), सुधा. edn. (p. 370-71), R.P. edn. (p. 360), प्रयाग edn (p. 240), सा. दी. edn. p. II (p. 49), संकेत (मा.) edn. (p. 7273) and संकेत (सो.) edn. p. II (p. 134). विस्ता. edn. p. II (p. 42) has द्रोणात्मजः with द्रौणायनि: in the ft. note. Similarly, संकेत (सो.) edn. p. II (p. 134) also reads द्रोणायनि: in the ft. note (p. I. p. 12) while, सा. चू. & सं. प्र. edn. p. II (p. 60) and विवेक edn. p. II (p. 212) have द्रौणायनि: for द्रोणात्मजः
क्रोधनः All editions of the Veņi have accepted this variant. The different commentaries on the K. P. also mostly prefer this. But प्र. & उ. edn. (p. 291) and संकेत (मा.) edn. (p. 72-73) have क्रोधनः with कोपनः and क्रोधतः in the ft. note; while सुधा. edn. (p. 370-371) has कोपनः for क्रोधनः. (13) प्रयत्नपरिबोधितः स्तुतिभिरद्य शेषे निशा
मकेशवमपाण्डवं भुवनमद्य निःसोमकम् । इयं परिसमाप्यते रणकथाद्य दोः शालिना
मपैतु नृपकाननातिगुरुरद्य भारो भुवः ।।-३.३४ This verse has three variants. They are as under - दोःशालिनाम् - All editions of the Veni. have दो:शालिनाम् but N. S. edn. (p. 87) has also mentioned the other reading- दो:शालिना in the ft. note. The different commentaries on the K. P. have also दोः शालिनाम्. अपैतु - This variant is seen in all editions of the Veni, except Poona edn. (p. 42), which has व्यपैति for अपैतु N. S. edn. (p. 87) has also noted the other readings - व्यपैतु
