कुरुकुल This variant is accepted by all editions of the Veni. The N. S. edn. (p. 26) has also noted for in the ft. note. The different commentaries on the R. P. have groeit only. ०सखो All editions of the Veni have this reacling but N. S. edn. (p. 26) has also noted
समो in the ft. note. The different commentaries on the K. P. have सखो, except विवेक edn. (p. 286) which has समो for ०सखो ताडितः N. S. Edn. of the Veni (p. 26) has ताडित: with ताड्यते in the ft. note. Chau. edn. (p. 34-35) has gifsa: while Poona edn. (p. 10) & Madras edn. (p. 23) have ताड्यते Gaj. edn. (p. 19) & Des. edn. (p. 21) have ताड्यते with ताडितः in the ft. note. The different commentaries on the K. P. have ताडित: only.
अयम् All editions of the Veni lave 3744 while the different commentaries on the K. P. have mostly preferred असौ for अयम् Jha. edn. (p. 487-88) has असौ K. P. edn. (p. 499), प्रयाग edn. (p. 330), सा. दी. edn.p. II (p. 225) & विस्ता. edn. p. II (p. 138) follow Jha. edn. प्र. & उ. edn. (p. 402) & संकेत (मा.) edn. (p. 237) have असौ with अयम् in the ft. note, while सुधा edn. (p. 498), सा. चू. & सं. प्र. edn. (p. 195) & विवेक edn. (p. 286) have अयम्, संकेत (सो.) edn. p. II (p. 211) has अयम् with असौ in the ft. note. (p. I, p. 17) (7) आत्मारामा विहितरतयो निर्विकल्पे समाधौ
ज्ञानोत्सेकाद्विघटिततमोग्नन्थयः सत्त्वनिष्ठाः । यं वीक्षन्ते कमपि तमसां ज्योतिषां वा परस्ता
तं मोहान्धः कथमहममुं वेत्ति देवं पुराणम् ॥-१.२३ There are many variants in this verse. They are as under विहितरतयः This variant is accepted by all editions of the Veni & those of the K. P. but मतयः, is also mentioned with धृतयः in the ft. note by N. S. edn. (p. 27). K. P.
