Thisassertion, however, isopentogravedoubts.ForintheextantworksofSiddhasenaDiwakarthename Kumudchandraisnotfound. Butinhisfifth Dwatrishinka,whichisatruestotra, hasintroducedthename Siddhasena justasMantungaandKumudchandradidalludetotheirnamesinthecorrespondingpassagesoftheirstotras. Whys hould SiddhasenanothaveretainedthenamecontainedintheKalyan Mandir Stotraifhehadbeentheauthorofit?W epossessseveralhymnsofSiddhasena..[whichjareentirelydifferentinconceptionandstylefromtheKalyan Mand ir. Itistherefore, almostcertainthatKumudchandrashouldnotbeidentifiedwith Siddhasena Diwakar. ThispointnaturallythrowsmoredoubtontheauthorshipoftheKalyan Mandir Stotra. Andthewholestudyofwhenan dhowitwascomposedtakesaninterestingturn. HoweveritisnoteworthythatmanyscholarsinIndiadonotagreewit hProf.Jacobi'sopinionandtheyfirmlybelievethatKumudchandrais Siddhasena Diwakarandthatheistheauthoro ftheKalyan Mandir Stotra.Ifwearetogobythis, thenwecansafelysaythattheKalyan Mandirisnotanimitationofthe BhaktamaraStotra.AsthereseemstobenodoubtaboutthefactthatSiddhasenaDiwakarwasbornbeforetheauth oroftheBhaktamara Stotra. OnemayalsothinkalongthelinethatperhapstheBhaktamaraStotrawascomposedinimitationofthe Kalyan Mandi rStotra.
