Blessedarethosewhobyleavingasidetheirotheractivities worshipatyourfeetthreetimesad aywithutmostdevotion. Comments:Nowinthefollowingfourversesthepoetadmitswithutmosthumilitythathehassufferedbecauseheha dneverresortedtothedivinefeetofParshvanatha.Hesaysthathehasbeenapproachedbyadisaster,hehasbeen madeanobjectofhumiliationbyothersandheismiserableduetothefactthathehasnotworshippedParshvanatha, andhadnodevotionorfaithinhimduetothepassioninotherworldlymatters. Heconfesseshislimitationsandsaysthathemayn othavedoneanythingasfarasreligiousmattersareconcernedbutnowhehasrealisedtherightpath.Heistotallyatth emercyofParshvanathaandbegsforprotection. Thistypeofhumblesurrendercanalsobeseeninmany Sanskritpr ayersin Hinduism'. 34 OLord!ldonotbelievethatyouhaveevercomewithintherangeofmyears, (Ididnotlistentoyourgoodname) otherwi secanthevenomousreptileofdisastersapproachmeaftersingingyoursacredmantra? 35 OGod! Ibelievethatyourfeet, capableofgrantinggiftshavenotbeenworshippedbymeeveninmypreviousbirths.
