Thisprocedureofheatingisreferredtoasthevipakaoftheclay(pot).Apotcanfloatupsidedownonthewaterandthec laydoesnotmeltawayafterithasbeenheatedintheoven. Thereforethepotwithvipakacanmakeotherscrossthese awhereasthe Tirthankaraeventhoughheiswithoutvipakacanhelppeoplecrosstheseaofmundaneexistence. 29 Verse No.300 saviourofthemankind, thoughyouare: (1)Themasteroftheuniverse, yetyouarepoor(durgatameanspoor;theothermeaningofthiswordisonewhoisrealisedwithgreatdifficulty).
