prehensible, and which is beyond the range of mind and speech; there is no duality whatsoever in It.
सत्समृद्धं स्वतःसिद्धं शुद्धं बुद्धमनीदशम् । एकमेवाद्वयं ब्रह्म नेह नानास्ति किञ्चन ॥ ४७० ॥ 470. There is only Brahman, the One without a second, the Reality, effulgent, selfexistent, pure, intelligent,' and unlike anything finite; there is no duality whatsoever in It.
['Intelligent-strictly speaking, Intelligence Absolute.
Unlike &c.-It has got no exemplar.
The repetition is for emphasising the absolute unconditioned aspect of Brahman. ] निरस्तरागा विनिरस्तभोगाः
शान्ताः सुदान्ता यतयो महान्तः। विज्ञाय तत्वं परमेतदन्ते
प्राप्ताः परां निवृतिमात्मयोगात् ॥४१॥ 471. High-souled Sannyâsins' who have got rid of all attachment and discarded all senseenjoyments, who ate pacified and perfectly restrained,» realise this Supreme Truth and at the end“ attain the Supreme Bliss through their Self-realisation.
