जिनदेव कहते हैं कि आत्मा स्वसंवेदन के सन्दर्भ में व्यक्त। है परन्तु जब वह दूसरों का (वचनों का) उद्दिष्ट बनता है तब वह । अव्यक्त हो जाता है । आत्मा ग्रहण करने योग्य और ग्रहण करने । वाला भी है ।
इत्यनेकान्तरूपोऽसौ, धर्मरेवविधैः पदैः । ज्ञातभ्योऽनन्तशक्तिभ्या, स्वभावादपि योगिभिः ।।२०।।
Thus the soul indeed is characterized by a manifold nature and it is to be known by (such apparently $contradictory) expressions. By the Yogins, however, the
soul can be known in its own nature (endowed) with its | infinite qualities (20). हिन्दी अनुवाद :
इसप्रकार आत्मा का बहु आयामी स्वभाव वैशिष्ट्य है । यह परस्पर विरुद्ध अभिव्यक्ति के व्दारा ज्ञात हो चुका है । उस अनन्त । गुणस्वभावी आत्मा को योगिगण जान सकते हैं ।
नयप्रमाणभङ्गिभिः, सुस्थमेतन्मतं भवेत् । __ नया स्युः त्वंशगास्तत्र, प्रमाणे सकलार्थगे।।२१।।
