१३५. प्रश्न : कौन जीव स्वर्गों में कहाँ तक उत्पन्न हो सकते
उत्तर : असंयत सम्यग्दृष्टि और देशसंयमी मनुष्य एवं तिर्यञ्च सोलहवें स्वर्ग तक उत्पन्न हो सकते हैं।' जो द्रव्य से निग्रंथ मुद्रा के धारक और भाव से मिथ्यादृष्टि, असंयत सम्यग्दृष्टि एवं देशसंयमी हैं, वे अन्तिम ग्रैवेयक पर्यन्त उत्पन्न होते हैं । सम्यग्दृष्टि महाव्रती सर्वार्थसिद्धि पर्यन्त, सम्यग्दृष्टि भोगभूमिज मनुष्य, तिर्यञ्च सौधर्मेशान स्वर्ग पर्यन्त और मिथ्यादृष्टि भोगभूमिज मनुष्य, तिर्यञ्च एवं तापसी साधु उत्कृष्टता से भवनत्रिक पर्यन्त ही उत्पन्न होते हैं। चरक और परिव्राजक संन्यासी ब्रह्म कल्प पर्यन्त और आजीवक साधु अच्युत कल्प पर्यन्त उत्पन्न होते हैं। अन्य लिगियों का उत्पाद १६वें स्वर्ग से आगे नहीं होता है। स्त्रियों का उत्पाद १६वें स्वर्ग तक हो सकता है। १३६. प्रश्न : देवायु-बन्ध के परिणाम क्या-क्या हैं ? उत्तर : शम, दम, यम और नियम आदि से युक्त, मन-वचन और काय को वश में रखने वाले, निर्ममत्व परिणाम वाले तथा जो आरम्म आदि से रहित होते हैं वे साधु, इन्द्र आदि की आयु अथवा पाँच अनुत्तरों में ले जाने वाली महर्द्धिक देवों की आयु १. त्रिलोकसार. पृ.- ४६६।
