पलाश और राजद्रुम (चारोली का वृक्ष) हैं। ५०. प्रश्न : ये चैत्यवृक्ष क्यों कहलाते हैं ? उत्तर : चैत्यवृक्षों के मूल भाग की चारों दिशाओं में पद्मासन से स्थित पाँच-पाँच जिनप्रतिमाएँ हैं, अतः इन्हें चैत्यवृक्ष कहते हैं। प्रतिमाओं के आगे प्रत्येक दिशा में रत्नमय, उत्तुंग पाँच-पाँच मानस्तम्भ है। इन मानस्तम्भों के ऊपर चारों दिशाओं में सात-सात प्रतिमाएँ विराजमान हैं। ५१. प्रश्न : भवनवासी देवों के निवास स्थानों के कितने भेद
हैं एवं उनका क्या स्वरूप है ? उत्तर : भवनवासी देवों के निवास स्थान भवन, भवनपुर और
आवास के भेद से ती प्रकार के होते हैं। इनमें से रत्नप्रभा पृथ्वी में भवन, मध्यलोक में द्वीप-समुद्रों के ऊपर भवनपुर एवं रमणीय तालाब, पर्वत तथा वृक्षादिक के ऊपर आवास हैं। रत्नप्रभा पृथ्वी के पंकबहुल भाग में इस जम्बूद्वीप से तिरछे दक्षिण एवं उत्तर दिशा में असंख्यात् द्वीप समुद्रों के बाद क्रमशः दक्षिणेन्द्र, उत्तरेन्द्र एवं उनके परिवार वाले असुरकुमारों के भवन हैं।
