उत्तर : अन्तरंग में असातावेदनीय कर्म की उदीरणा होने से तथा बास्य में आहार देखने से अथवा उस और उपयोग जाने से अथवा पेट खाली होने से जीव को जो आहार की इच्छा होती है उसे आहार संज्ञा कहते हैं।
