२५. प्रश्न : सूक्ष्म साम्पराय गुणस्थान किसे कहते हैं ?
उत्तर : जिस प्रकार धुले हुए कसूमी वस्त्र में सूक्ष्म लालिमा रह
जाती है, उसी प्रकार जहाँ चारित्र मोहनीय कर्म की बीस प्रकृतियों का उपशम अथवा क्षय हो जाने पर सूक्ष्म कृष्टि को प्राप्त संज्वलन लोभ कषाय का ही उदय पाया जाय, . उसको सूक्ष्म साम्पराय गुणस्थान कहते हैं। इस गुणस्थान में यथाख्यात चारित्र से कुछ न्यून चारित्र पाया जाता है।
२६. प्रश्न : सूक्ष्म कृष्टि की प्राप्ति कैसे होती है ?
उत्तर : जो स्पर्धक अनिवृत्तिकरण के पूर्व में पाये जाते हैं, उनको
पूर्यस्पर्धक कहते है। अनिवृत्तिकरणरूप परिणाम के निमित्त से जिनका अनभाग अनन्त-गण क्षीण हो जाता है उनको अपूर्वस्पर्पक कहते हैं। जिनका अनुभाग अपूर्वस्पर्धक से भी अनन्तगुणा क्षीण हो जाता है, उनको बादरकृष्टि कहते हैं। जिनका अनुभाग बादरकृष्टि से भी अनन्तगुणा क्षीण हो जाता है, उनको सूक्ष्मकृष्टि कहते हैं। ये सब कार्य नवम् गुणस्थान में होते हैं।
