द्वीन्द्रिय, ६. पर्याप्त द्वीन्द्रिय, ७. अपर्याप्त प्रीन्द्रिय, ८, पर्याप्त श्रीन्द्रिय, ६. अपर्याप्त चतुरिन्द्रिय, १०. पर्याप्त चतुरिन्द्रिय, ११. अपर्याप्त असंजी पंचेन्द्रिय, १२. पर्याप्त असंज्ञी पंचेन्द्रिय, १३, अपर्याप्त संज्ञी पंचेन्द्रिय, १४. पर्याप्त संज्ञी पंचेन्द्रिय ।
जीवस्थान के उक्त चौदह भेदों में से आदि के तेरह जीवस्थानों में दो-दो भंग होते हैं-१. सात प्रकृतिक बंध, आठ प्रकृतिक उदय और आठ प्रकृतिक सत्ता, २. आठ प्रकृतिक बंध, आठ प्रकृतिक उदय और भाउ प्रकृतिक सत्ता । इन दोनों भंगों को बताने के लिए गाथा में कहा है-'सत्तट्ठबंधअठ्ठदयसंत तेरससु जीवठाणेसु'।
दन तेरह जीवस्थानों में दो भंग इस प्रकारण होते हैं कि इन जीवों के दर्शनमोहनीय और चारित्रमोहनीय की उपशमना अथवा क्षपणा की योग्यता नहीं पाई जाती है और अधिकतर मिथ्यात्व गुणस्थान ही सम्भव है । यद्यपि इनमें से कुछ जीवस्थानों में दूसरा गुणस्थान भी हो सकता है, लेकिन उससे भंगों में अन्तर नहीं पड़ता है ।
उक्त दो भंग-विकल्पों में से सात प्रकृतिक बंध, आठ प्रकृतिक उदय और आठ प्रकृतिक सत्ता बाला पहला भंग जब आयुकर्म का बन्ध नहीं होता है तव पाया जाता है तथा आठ प्रकृतिक बन्ध, आठ प्रकृतिक उदय और आठ प्रकृतिक सत्ता वाला दूसरा भंग आयुकर्म के बन्ध के समय होता है। इनमें से पहले भंग का काल प्रत्येक जीवस्थान के काल के बराबर यथायोग्य समझना चाहिये और दूसरे भंग का जघन्य द उत्कृष्ट काल अन्तर्मुहूर्त प्रमाण है, क्योंकि आयुकाम के बन्ध का जघन्य व उत्कृष्ट काल अन्तमुहूर्त है ।
