द्वारों का व्याख्यान करना कठिन है। फिर भी जो प्रत्युत्पन्नमति विद्वान हैं वे पूर्वापर सम्बन्ध को देखकर उनका व्याख्यान करें।
टीकाकार आचार्यश्री के उक्त कथन से यह स्पष्ट हो जाता है कि गाथा में जिस विषय की सूचना दी गई है उस विषय का प्रतिपादन करने वाले ग्रंथ वर्तमान में नहीं पाये जाते हैं। फिर भी विभिन्न ग्रन्थों की सहायता से मार्गणाओं में आठ कर्मों की मूल और उत्तर प्रकृतियों के बंध, उदय और सत्ता स्थानों के संवेध का विवरण नीचे लिखे अनुसार जानना चाहिये । पहले ज्ञानावरण, दर्शनावरण, वेदनीय, आयु, गोत्र और अंतराय इन छह कर्मों के बंध आदि स्थानों का निर्देश करने के बाद मोहनीय व नाम कर्म के बंधादि स्थानों को बतलायेंगे।
