२८ प्रकृतिक संघस्थान वाले जीव के २१, २५, २६, २७, २५, २६, ३० और ३१ प्रकृतिक, ये आठ उदयस्थान होते हैं। इसके २४ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान न होने का कारण यह है कि यह एकेन्द्रियों के ही होता है और एकेन्द्रियों के २८ प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान नहीं होता है। इन उदयस्थानों में से २१, २६, २८, २९ र ३० प्रकृतिक ये पांच उदयस्थान क्षायिक सम्यग्दृष्टि या मोहनीय की २२ प्रकृतियों की सत्ता वाले वेदक सम्यग्दृष्टियों के होते हैं तथा इनमें से प्रत्येक उदयस्थान में २ और प्रकृतिक, ये दो-दो सत्तास्थान होते हैं । २५ और २७ प्रकृतिक, ये दो उदयस्थान विक्रिया करने वाले तियंचों के होते हैं। यही भी प्रत्येक उदयस्थान में ६२ और प्रकृतिक, ये दो-दो सत्तास्थान होते हैं तथा ३० और ३१ प्रकृतिक, ये दो उदयस्थान सब पर्याप्तियों से पर्याप्त हुए सम्यग्दृष्टि या मिथ्यादृष्टि तियंचों के होते हैं। इनमें से प्रत्येक उदयस्थान में ६२८८ और ६ प्रकृतिक, ये तीन सत्तास्थान होते हैं। लेकिन यह विशेष जानना चाहिये कि ८६ प्रकृतिक सत्तास्थान मिथ्यादृष्टियों के ही होता है, सम्यग्दृष्टियों के नहीं, क्योंकि सम्यग्दृष्टि तिर्यंचों के नियम से देवद्विक का बंध सम्भव हैं ।
इस प्रकार यहाँ सब बंधस्थानों और सब उदयस्थानों की अपेक्षा २१८ सत्तास्थान होते हैं। क्योंकि २३, २५, २६, २६ और ३० प्रकृतिक इन पांच बंधस्थानों में से प्रत्येक में से चालीस-चालीस और २८ प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान में अठारह सत्तास्थान होते हैं । अत: ४०५ + १५ = २१८ इन सब का जोड़ होता है ।
