सप्ततिका प्रकरण तिर्यंच पंचेन्द्रिय और मनुष्यों. दोनों के होता है और प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान तिथंच पंचेन्द्रिय जीवों के ही होता है। इसके ६२, ८६, ८८ और ८६ प्रकृतिक, ये चार सत्तास्थान होते हैं। इनमें से ३० प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान में चारों सत्तास्थान होते हैं। उसमें भी ६ प्रकृतिक सत्तास्थान उसी के जानना चाहिये जिसके तीर्थकर प्रकृति को सत्ता है और जो मिथ्यात्व में आकर नरकगति के योग्य २८ प्रकृतियों का बंध करता है । शेष तीन सत्तास्थान प्रायः सब तिर्यंच और मनुष्यों के संभव हैं । ३१ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान में ८६ प्रकृतिक को छोड़कर शेष तीन सत्तास्थान पाये जाते हैं। ८६ प्रकृतिक सत्तास्थान तीर्थंकर प्रकृति सहित होता है, परन्तु तिर्यंचों में तीर्थंकर प्रकृति की सत्ता संभव नहीं, इसीलिये ३१ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान में ८६ प्रकृतिक सत्तास्थान का निषेध किया है। इस प्रकार २८ प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान में ३० और ३१ प्रकृतिक, दो उदयस्थानों की अपेक्षा ७ सत्तास्थान होते हैं।
